Advent Hymns of the Divine Office
The Divine Office, also
called "The Liturgy of the Hours" or "Breviary," is the daily
prayer of the Church, marking the hours of each day with prayer.
This collection of hymns is taken directly from this book.
Some are familiar, but others are never heard or sung and most
people don't know how they go. Recorded with very simple
instrumentation, now you can learn them, sing them, use them for
meditation and have them for background music during the time of
Advent preparation, in keeing with the anticipation and longing
proper before the fulfilment of Christmas Day.
